The results are truly rewarding. As someone who has personally experienced this journey, I’m eager to share effective strategies that have worked for me.
- Challenge that negative self-talk: Catch yourself when you’re not being super nice to yourself. Flip those thoughts around. It’s weird at first, but you’ll get the hang of it.
- Set tiny goals: I’m talking stupidly small. Make your bed. Drink water. Whatever. Just nail those little wins. They add up, trust me.
- Be kind to yourself: Treat yourself like you would a good friend. Messed up? It happens. Don’t beat yourself up about it.
- Surround yourself with good vibes: Hang with people who lift you up. People, social media, everything and everyone you’re surreonded by.
- Learn new stuff: Pick up a hobby. Try something you’ve always wanted to do. Doesn’t matter if you suck at first. It’s all about proving to yourself that you can grow.

Maintaining self-esteem is more crucial than merely gaining it because it’s far easier to keep a steady level of confidence than to rebuild it from scratch.
Once lost, self-esteem can be incredibly challenging and time-consuming to regain, making consistent maintenance efforts a wise investment in your long-term emotional well-being.

Making a self-care routine your non-negotiable daily ritual doesn’t just clear your mind – it’s the fuel that powers your entire life. It’s not just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have for anyone serious about levelling up their existence.
When talking about self-care routine there are these to focus on: physical, emotional and social.
- PHYSICAL: Move your body (even if it’s just a silly dance in your living room), eat stuff that makes you feel good, and for the love of everything, get some quality shut-eye! Not every day or longer than necessary but focus on these and you’ll notice a change.
- EMOTIONAL: Write down your feelings, talk to someone who can help, or try sitting quietly for a bit. It might feel weird at first, but your brain will love it. And as usual I cannot recommend everyday journaling more. Check out some cute journals and give it a shot.
- SOCIAL: Keep the good people close, and don’t be shy to ask for a hand when life gets tough – we’re all in this together.
